Specs:

MSRP: 26,500 yen = $300.50 (based on exchange rates on 12/09/09)

Wear and Tear: The reel has been oiled regularly thru the oiling port located on the body. There are (2) small scratches on the rotating arm approximately 1/2mm x 1/2mm (on the paint). There is (1) nick in the plastic on the rotating arm approximately 1/2mm x 1/2mm (on the plastic). Other than these minor imperfections, the reel looks, feels and performs brand new.

History: This is from my personal collection. Purchasd by my mother-in-law when she visited Japan and bought as a gift. I have used it possibly 2 or 3 times in the last fishing season. It is currently spooled with 65lb Sufix Braid (only 1/3 of the reel is full - you will want to fill the reel when you receive it). It was used to fish for blackfish off a party boat. It performed great, but I am switching to conventionals and thus do not need it anymore.

What I Like about this Reel: It is powerful, hence the PG (power gear). The knobby handle gives you great leverage when reeling in a fish. The one piece bail is also a nice touch so that your line does not get caught when reeling in the slack. The oiling port makes for easy maintenance. The JDM versions of Shimano are really nice, wish they had them here in the States.
